Anonymous asked: MLP SANDWICH ! No really, a sandwich for vegetarians !

Oh boy, oh boy, ooooh boy! I was -SO- hoping somepony would ask for some sandwiches!

Actually, it’s a pretty funny story… You see, I was trotting around Ponyville on my usual food run, and I noticed Twilight’s friends were really harassing her about some tickets to a dance or something… Was it the Grand Galloping Gala? I can’t remember.

However, what I do remember is that scrumptious sandwich that poor pony kept trying to eat, a really yummy looking daisy and daffodil sandwich. I decided that when the time was right, I’d figure out a non-floral way to eat such a yummy concoction without any meat, and it suddenly dawned on me, the perfect solution…

Twilight’s Daisy Sandwich!

Ingredients:

  • Eggs (2)
  • Bread (2 pieces)
  • Butter (About 1/2 Tbs.)
  • Parsley (Just a pinch!)
  • Daisy shaped cookie cutters/Egg molds*
Directions:

Step 1. Preheat a saucepan (nonstick, lovelies!) and spread the butter around.
Step 2. Place the egg molds into the pan. Crack the eggs into the mold and cook until whites are tender and yolks are cooked.

Step 3. Take the eggs from the pan and onto one of the pieces of bread. Place a few pinches of parsley on the eggs and toss the second piece of bread onto.
Step 4. Place sammich into the pan on low-medium heat. Place a heavy pan onto of you sandwich and press hard for a brief moment, then let the bread brown to your desired color. Repeat for reverse piece of bread.
And there you have it, you’ve got a scrumptious daisy sandwich just like Twilight Sparkle *tried* to eat! I’ve got the egg molds coming in the mail, so I’ll edit this post with a photo as soon as it comes in.
*The molds can be either egg or cookie cutter molds, but egg molds have small wooden handles that let you pull the mold off much easier than messing around with a cookie cutter. Plus, older cookie cutters are sometimes soldered, and the high heat of frying the egg may end up breaking the mold. You can buy them on Amazon for just a couple of dollars and they’re super cute!
