Twist RETUUUURNTH!

Tho, you guyth remember that thuper cute pony from “Call of the Cutie” named Twist? Well, thee gave me thith really thwell rethipe and I thought that inthdead of thaving it in my cue that I’d potht it now tho you guyth can grab thome mini candy caneth while they’re on Chrithmath Clearenth!

Ingredients:

  • Mini candy canes (1 package)
  • White MOLDING chocolate (1 package, you can get this at most grocery and craft stores)
  • THPRINKLETH! (Sprinkles… Preferably red, just the cute grain kind.~)
  • A towel (To lay your candy canes on so they don’t break)
  • Parchment paper

Step 1. Pull out a big piece of parchment paper and place it onto a smooth, level surface.

Step 2. GENTLY arrange the candy canes into hearts, all spaced evenly on the parchment paper. Make sure they’re secured but adding a small drop of sugar water onto the base of each cane where it lays on the other. This’ll keep it from slipping off while you put on ‘ze chocolate.

Step 3. Get a baggy (or in my case a disposable icing tube) and fill it wil most of the bag of white molding chocolate. Microwave it at 50% heat for about 1 minute and knead it until it’s smooth and consistent. Keep microwaving it at 30 second increments until smooth, but din’t let it over heat or you’ll burn your hooves!

Step 4. Cut a *SMALL* hole in the bottom of the baggy/icing tube and add the chocolate into the middles of the candy cane hearts. Sprinkle them quickly, as you don’t want the chocolate to harden before the sprinkles get a chance to stick.

Step 5. Wait about 20 minutes or so to be sure they’re all cooled before moving them or the chocolate will fall out the middle and you’ll have to do the heart/s all over again.

This process will test your stamina, as the chocolate tends to get hard and chunky pretty fast, so be sure to move quickly. Also, as noted in the ingredients list, lay down a towel when messing around with candy canes because I broke like a bamillion of ‘em and had to scrap all of the broken ones!

Remember, post pictures of your finished products when you’re done! I’d thure apprethiate it! Thankth, guyth! <3
